One of the main events within the SCHLINGEL festival week will be the INDUSTRY FORUM, which has established itself as the most comprehensive networking platform for the international film industry.
This event runs from Monday, 7th until Wednesday, 9th and offers panel discussions and discussion rounds for and with film experts and enables excellent opportunities for experiences exchange and networking with filmmakers and creatives from all over the world.
One of the highlights and main parts of this year’s INDUSTRY FORUM is marked with the ECFA seminar on 7th/8th October 2019. The highlighted topics of the event are intended to address the question of what status children's and youth film festivals in the film industry and the evaluation cycle currently represent and what opportunities and problems there are? The dialogue and cooperation between the international children's and youth film festivals as well as representatives of all sectors in this industry are thus becoming increasingly important in today’s world. But what significance does children's and youth film festivals currently have in the film industry and in the distribution process - what opportunities and problems might occur? The participants will get the opportunity for an intensive exchange of ideas in form of case studies, working groups and networking possibilities.
The very popular grown “ComingSoon” section on Tuesday afternoon will give us the chance to have an insight into the production of upcoming children's and youth films of national and international filmmakers.
Third Industry Forum day lays under the sign of the presentation of interesting projects on different stages from all over the world to the expert audience.
International film experts, producers, directors, distributors, television stations, representatives of funding agencies.
The programme consists of different discussion and event formats that will enable a vast variety of opportunities to exchange experiences with other participants. Networking events as a get together on Monday evening and a joint trip to Einsiedler brewery on Tuesday evening are completing the expert programme.
All talks and discussions of this event will be held in English language.
