On February 20^th the 70^th Berlin International Film Festival began. SCHLINGEL, the Chemnitz-based International Film Festival for Children and Young Audience, was also on site to watch films for this year's festival edition, initiated new projects and talked with international partners and filmmakers. The highlight was an evening event organised by SCHLINGEL on Saturday, 22 February 2020 at the Vertretung des Freistaates Sachsen beim Bund in Berlin, where the "Meeting of the European Children's Film Community" brought together more than 400 guests from all over the world.
