German title: Träume
Goran has just finished school. Now he must decide whether to study at university or whether he would prefer to earn some money. But first, he enjoys his freedom, goes out with friends, drinks beer and looks for the right girl. His mother understands his needs. The two of them get on really well with one another. Then comes the day that changes everything. Goran's mother suffers a heart attack and is taken to hospital. Suddenly she speaks of dying and of her last great wish. She wants to visit her home town of Split in southern Croatia again, hear the sea, feel the waves and walk along the beach. She has saved 10,000 crowns for this. Goran is to look after the money. He puts it into a plastic bag and hides it in the ceiling lamp. But it is stolen during a party. Goran has a suspicion, but he cannot prove it. Goran cannot and does not want to disappoint his mother. She should be able to fulfill her wish after her recovery. Without further ado, the boy decides to get the money back. He breaks into the suspect’s house and actually finds what he is looking for. To deflect suspicion away from himself, he very elegantly places wrong traces and thus settles an old score.
