At the 19th edition of the FIFEM in Montreal there weren’t only numerous guests but also head of SCHLINGEL Michael Harbauer and director Norbert Lechner, whose film "Fortune Favors the Brave" was officially introduced at the 20th SCHLINGEL last year. Now he had its international debut in Montreal.

Also the 19th edition of the New York International Children’s Film Festival took place this year and - like the FIFEM - it offered the possibility to examine new films for the 21st SCHLINGEL more closely. Beside this there was time for networking.
