The Giffoni Film Festival was held from 20 - 28 July 2018. SCHLINGEL dispatched 4 schoolgirls and their teacher to Italy. The girls were part of a jury. Over 5600 jurors from more than 50 nations were divided in seven competing sections. Beside the screening of international films, the Italian film festival is also a chance for international exchanges. In addition to the works of filmmakers, music and theatre events were also held in the streets and squares of the city. The multifaceted film festival provided an incredible time and many interesting impressions for the girls from Chemnitz.
