Not only at our festival, there are international children's and youth juries. Young people from different countries also award prizes at other film festivals, including the "Ciné Jeune de l'Aisne", which took place this year from 20 March to 20 April. And so we sent Lina G. and Lina L. from the Chemnitz Dr.-Wilhelm-André-Gymnasium to the 41st edition of the French festival to be part of the International Youth Jury. Together with young people from Italy, France and Slovenia, they watched films in Guise, Laon, Chauny and Saint-Gobain, discussed them and chose a winner. Fun and cultural exchange were not neglected either.

By the way, this was not the first time that Chemnitz members sat on the jury in France. We have been taking students to festivals abroad every year for many years. Soon we will be going to Italy again for the "Giffoni Film Festival", but more about that very soon.
