It won't be long now until the 29th SCHLiNGEL is just around the corner. The submission season is open and filmmakers can submit their productions for the upcoming festival edition.

At the last SCHLiNGEL, we were able to welcome 20,000 film fans of all ages to our venues and show 171 films from over 50 countries. We are looking forward to receiving numerous great submissions so that we can bring such a plurality of films to the big screen this year as well. In addition to the film screenings, our International Film Festival for Children and Young Audiences SCHLiNGEL also includes panel discussions, film talks and workshops. As an integral part of the festival, we offer our professional guests the Industry Forum, a platform for exchange and networking and thus a meeting place for the children's and youth film industry. The 29th SCHLiNGEL will take place from 25 September to 3 October 2024 in Chemnitz.
