The life of Siddharth Gautama, who was born as prince and heir of the Mountain Kingdom of Kapilavastu in the Himalayas. He left his palace and his family and embarks on a difficult journey of self-realization. After several years of severe penance and self-mortification, Siddharth nears enlightment. He soon attains Nirvana and becomes Buddha – The Enlightened One. Buddha, along with his five disciples, travels far and wide preaching the dharma with his eight fold path.
