Tales From the Lakeside
Original title: Lengemesék
German title: Geschichten vom See
Do you already know the water goblins? No? No wonder, for they are the tiny, green, but brave guardians of the lakeside, who unexpectedly dash through the reeds. The green Verdies, as the young water goblins are called, can only become guardians when their hair turns brown. Until then, however, life is quite boring. They are not allowed to fly on warblers, travel alone or go boating. And it is also strictly forbidden to ride wild frogs at the rodeo. Willy Whistle’s big dream is to become a guardian and finally be allowed to fly! But his insatiable curiosity often gets him into trouble. One day, the whole lake is endangered when the enemies of the water goblins, the Grimps and the swans, enter into an alliance to fight against the inhabitants of the reeds. The guardians seem helpless, but Willy comes up with a plan to save his beloved home and his trapped friend Jeremiah. Luckily he is not alone, because his friends, his grandfather, the water snakes and the frogs also come to his rescue.
