Karla & Katrine
Original title: Karla og Katrine
German title: Karla & Katrine
Karla and Katrine used to be best friends. But somehow so much has changed. Katrine is only interested in boys now. Her favourite pastime is writing enthusiastic text messages. Karla hopes that everything will be right again. Her parents have allowed her to invite Katrine for the planned summer holiday. Everything should be the same as before: the summer house, the friends, swimming in the lake. On the day of departure Karla is waiting impatiently for Katrine. But she does not seem to come along. When the family is on the point of leaving, she appears at last. Overwhelmed with happiness, Karla forgets about her own desires and does everything Katrine wants. Before the holiday she had even bought a stuffed toy as a token of friendship. But this just really annoys Katrine. She considers the summer holiday totally uncool. On a walk through the forest, the girls are pestered by two adolescents, Ulrik and Tvede. Jonas rushes over to help them. He comes from Copenhagen and spends his holidays with his foster parents in the village. The three are having a good time from now on. But when Karla falls in love with Jonas, another rift develops between the girls. The village shop has been broken in repeatedly. While Karla, Katrine and Jonas seem to know who is behind it, the police suspect Jonas. But how to catch the culprits? Karla, Katrine and Jonas devise a promising plan. At the end of summer, nothing is the way it was, but everything is new and beautiful.
