Jackie & Oopjen
Original title: Jackie en Oopjen
German title: Jackie & Oopjen
Jackie is the daughter of a curator working at the famous Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam. A Rembrandt painting from the 17th century showing a young woman named Oopjen Coppit has just been borrowed from Paris. Jackie is fascinated by the work. It almost seems as if Oopjen was alive and watching her. When Jackie’s mother comes to work the next morning, all hell breaks loose: the painting is still there, but the main character is missing! How can something like this happen? A finder’s fee is quickly promised. Meanwhile, lonely Jackie has found a new friend who dresses quite historically. Jackie hides real Oopjen in her bedroom. Together they set off searching for Oopjen's little sister, who was portrayed by an unknown painter. She can return to her painting only afterwards. And as if that wasn’t hard enough, an antique dealer and his bossy mother sense their great chance when they find out where Oopjen might be hiding.
