Yekaterinburg is calling
The Russian International Children and Youth Film Festival WITHIN THE FAMILY in Yekaterinburg is celebrating its opening ceremony tonight. Also SCHLINGEL director Michael Harbauer is attending the festival as a member of the International Children's and Animation Film Programme.
Winners of the 17th SCHLINGEL
The ceremonial award presentation on Saturday evening was just another highlight of the International Film Festival for Children and Young Audience SCHLINGEL. For a week, ten juries have been spoilt for choice in the appointment of their personal favorites. 103 productions from 36 countries were screened.
17th Film Festival SCHLINGEL brings movies from all over the world to Chemnitz
On Monday, 15th of October, the International Film Festival for Children and Young Audience SCHLINGEL in Chemnitz will be opened by the South African production LUCKY. About 300 students from Chemnitz and surroundings, as well as invited guests from Germany and foreign countries will attend the official ceremony.
SCHLINGEL as a guest in Iran
Marcel Maiga, programme consultant of the SCHLINGEL Film Festival, follows the festival director’s invitation and will visit the Isfahan International Film Festival of Children and Young Adults. There he is looking for new festival films for the 18th edition of the SCHLINGEL.
SCHLINGEL is visiting Zlin
On Sunday the International Film Festival in Zlin is opening the doors for its 52th edition. Also Michael Harbauer and Dr. Volker Petzold from SCHLINGEL will be there - looking for brand new children’s and youth films.
German girl was jury member in Saint-Quentin
While her classmates were already at school, student Laura Rueger and French teacher Karin Freund from Chemnitz came back from their journey to the French film festival Cine-Jeune. In Saint-Quentin Laura Rueger was a member of the International Youth Film Jury.
Film Festival SCHLINGEL was visiting Khanty-Mansiysk
At 20 degrees below zero, SCHLINGEL-chief Michael Harbauer and Programme Advisor Dr. Volker Petzold travelled to Khanty-Mansiysk, where they presented German movies at the Russian Film Festival „Duch ognja“ (Spirit of fire).
