Just like usual also this year SCHLINGEL was on board when it was time to look out for the newest productions at the 65th Berlinale in February. As one of the organisers of the “Meeting of the Children’s Film Scene” in the representation of the federal state of Saxony within the Federal Government the IFF SCHLINGEL assured for a felicitous reception, at which inspiring conversations were held and new project ideas could be made. The evening was crowned with the presentation of the ECFA-Award 2016, which went to the Belgian-French coproduction BIRDS OF PASSAGE.
