Tomorrow I'll Be Brave
Karl is twelve and pretty shy. He likes to hang out in his darkroom and try his hand at developing black-and-white photos. Quite unlike his older brother Tom, who plays in a band and is really cool with the girls. None of this would be a problem if Karl hadn’t just fallen in love – with Lea from his class, of all people. She is a head taller than him and is also changing schools after the summer holidays. So Karl doesn’t have much time. How can he show Lea that he likes her? Tom sends him photos of famous couples in love, in which the woman is much taller than the man. And he advises Karl to simply tell Lea how he feels about her. Well, if only it were that easy! First, Karl buys shoes with high platform soles and then shows Lea his darkroom. Lea is impressed by Karl’s “light magic,” but does that mean she likes him? Then, at the end of the school year, there is a project trip during which a video on the theme of “being in love” is to be shot. Karl is assigned to camera work and Lea to interviews. This is Karl’s last chance!
