Runt
Annie Shearer lives with her family on a remote farm in Upson Downs, Australia. A prolonged drought and the intrigues of a powerful landowner who is cutting off water supplies threaten the farm. Then Runt, a talented little stray dog, comes in handy. Annie adopts and trains him. Together, they take part in regional agility competitions, which lead them to the Krumpets Dog Show in London – an international competition with prize money of $250,000 that could save the farm. On the way, they meet dog trainer Fergus Fink and his papillon dog, who are also competing for victory and who soon take a dislike to the bright girl and her mixed-breed terrier. Far away from their family, Annie and Runt gradually develop their skills, overcome obstacles, master team tasks, adapt their strategies and have to take decisions that will determine not only their future, but also that of the farm.
