Lampie

Lampie is the brave daughter of a sailor and lighthouse keeper. Her job is to light the lighthouse lamp. One day, however, her matches are used up, and one of the admiral’s ships is wrecked. Lampie is sentenced to working as a maid at the Admiral’s Black House where she meets the strange but kind house servants and learns their secret. Hidden in the tower there is a monster that no one is allowed to see. But Lampie is curious and gets to know Edward, the monster. He is a boy with a fish tail who has been hidden away by the admiral, just like his mother. After some initial unease, the two become friends and enjoy a carefree time outside the tower. When the admiral returns one day, he no longer wants to keep his disobedient son with him. Edward and Lampie have to escape, but first Lampie must warn her father against further misdeeds by the admiral.
