The Children of Silver Street - Take a Stand

It has been a while since siblings Katinka, Tristan, Kirk and Petra found their new home with Miss Nelly and her partner Brian. After numerous unsuccessful auditions for domestic helpers, caring, chaotic and gender-fluid Miss Nelly came along just in time to save the children from being taken to a children’s home. Now the family is preparing for a peaceful Christmas. But their joy is clouded when the children’s biological grandparents learn of their mother’s absence and invite the children to stay with them at their family estate – an imposing castle. Although the grandparents have the law on their side, the children do everything they can to stay with their new, self-chosen family. Miss Nelly also refuses to give up and secretly sneaks into the grandparents’ estate. Together, they develop a courageous plan to take a stand against the adults’ decision and defend their new home with its not always traditional ideas of family.
