Pixie. The New Beginning
All beginnings are difficult. Eleven-year-old Hania realises this when she moves to a new city with her father after her mother’s death. At her new school, she doesn’t quite fit in because, unlike the other children, she firmly believes in the existence of pixies. Pixies are small, animal-like creatures that hide their colourful fur under hooded cloaks and have lived in the forests for thousands of years. Hania knows this from the stories and books of her late mother. But at school, no one wants to hear about it. Instead, her new classmates bully her and take away the precious pendant her mother left her. Hania can only get it back if she can prove that pixies really exist. She quickly teams up with outsider and inventor Michal, and a fast-paced hunt for the dwarfish mythical creatures begins. Not only do they encounter Sindri, a real pixie whose tricky tasks they must solve, but Hania soon realises, she must face her own emotions.
