Instead of serving his sentence in a prison, teenager Daniel is sent to Greece to take part in a project for juvenile criminals. On an ostrich farm in a remote village in Evros near the Turkish border Daniel is to learn to obey rules and take responsibility for the community. In this project, “the community” just includes the leader, an instructor and about 14-year-old Max, who is longing for closeness and sees Daniel as his friend.
