This year already marked the 19th edition of the Busan International Kids and Youth Film Festival in South Korea. Young audiences could look forward to a colourful film programme from 8 to 14 July.

Our festival director Michael Harbauer was also on site in South Korea for the festival and was part of the jury for the Heart-on-Awards, which presented the Starlight Cinema Award: Short, among others. Together with three colleagues from the film and festival industry, he viewed the nominated films. At the BIKY awards ceremony, the jury honoured the Canadian animated short film RETURN TO HAIRY HILL by director Daniel Gies, among others.
