Traveling through francophone cinema with Cinéfête
Showing international films in their original language has always been an important part of the SCHLiNGEL Filmfestival. But it is not only during the festival week that young and old film fans have the opportunity to watch children's and youth films in their original language. We are also currently organizing film screenings as part of the 22nd Cinéfête.
At the French school film festival, all films are shown in the original French version, in some cases with German subtitles. Cinéfête thus offers the perfect extension for French lessons, as students not only gain an insight into other cultures and countries, but they can also directly use the language they have learned at school.
In the past few days, our team has organized in the context of the Cinéfête, among other things, an event for school classes at the Metropol cinema in Chemnitz, showing the films "Un vrai bonhomme", "Petit pays" and "Fourmi". And our cinema at the Kinderfilmhaus also hosts film screenings that take their viewers on a journey through francophone cinema - a journey full of suspense, humor, twists and turns, and great emotions.
