International Film Festival presents itself in South Korea and Taiwan
Currently SCHLINGEL head Michael Harbauer is enroute concerning children’s and youth films. In Busan, the second largest town in South Korea, he visits the international children’s and youth film festival BIKY, where he presents German short films of past SCHLINGEL-editions. Furthermore, he talks at a film panel about the importance of international relations at worldwide acting festivals.
Afterwards he continues his journey to Taiwan to the AnimEDU Taiwan International Film Festival for Kids and Youth (ATIFF). There he introduces two short film programmes of the 21st SCHLINGEL and decides as a member of the jury on the Taiwanese awardees. At an international symposium he talks about the role of audiovisual education of children and youths, giving the example of the International Film Festival SCHLINGEL. Antje Schönfeld, the programmer for SCHLINGEL short films accompanies him. The journey is supported by the Goethe-Institute Taipeh.
