Last week, two adolescents from Chemnitz travelled to Pyrgos for the Olympia International Film Festival for Children and Young People. Accompanied by Madeleine Schmidt from our team, Eleonore and Johanna were part of the International Youth Jury of the 27th edition of the Greek festival.

Together with three other girls from Italy and Greece, they dedicated their time to viewing animated and real short films and finally honoured BUTTERFLY by Florence Miailhe and NA MAREI - THE INVISIBLE by Lea-Jade Horlier at the final award ceremony.

In addition to judging films, the jury also had the opportunity to take part in an animation workshop where participants were able to make their own puppets.

At SCHLiNGEL, Eleonore and Johanna were already part of the Fair Play Youth Jury, in which they worked together with young people from France, Greece, Norway and South Korea to award a film. Now they had the opportunity to be part of an international jury once again in Greece.
