4th German-Uzbek children’s and youth film festival “Shum bola” in Tashkent
The 4th German-Uzbek children’s and youths’ film festival “Shum bola” (in German “SCHLINGEL”) in Tashkent starts on Wednesday. Today festival head Michael Harbauer, accompanied by Tony Loeser (“Mullewap”), Alain Gsponer (“Heidi”) and Alexandra Prochaska (“Auf Augenhöhe”/ “At Eye Level”), is on his way to present seven German productions of the past SCHLINGEL-edition. All movies were part of the competition category “Blickpunkt Deutschland” (“German Focus”). The festival is organized by Goethe Institute Tashkent in cooperation with the International Film Festival SCHLINGEL and the Uzbek film authority “Uzbekkino”. The Mitteldeutsche Medienförderung MDM (Central German Media Fund) as well as the State Chancellery of Saxony foster the presentation. The Festival takes place May 3rd until May 7th 2017.
