German title: Schneewittchen und der Zauber der Zwerge
After her father’s death, little Snow White is completely at the mercy of her self-loving stepmother. The queen, who wants to be the most beautiful woman in the whole country, has the graceful girl locked up in a tower so no one can see her anymore. But the older Snow White becomes, the more rebellious she is. Again and again she flees from her tower room and secretly helps the old blacksmith at his work. There she meets Prince Kilian, who immediately falls in love with the cheeky girl.
When the court urgently needs money, the queen forges out a diabolical plan. In order to secure the financial support of rich count Sebalt, she wants to marry Snow White to this vain man. But when the bride is introduced, the entire court is fascinated by Snow White’s beauty and has only eyes for the princess. Beside herself with rage, the queen demands that her brother Gilig kill the unsuspecting girl. In the deepest forest, Snow White is rescued by seven dwarves, while Prince Kilian searches for the supposed blacksmith’s assistant.
