Madison - A Fast Friendship
Original title: Madison
German title: Madison
Twelve-year-old Madison has set her mind on becoming as successful as her father Timo, a professional cyclist. Timo, who named his daughter after a discipline in track cycling, namely two-man team riding, often overtaxes Madison. Although she still has a year to go, she is scheduled to take part in the Federal German training camp this summer, where the cycling junior squad is trained. In the camp, there is no limit to her sporting ambitions. After a tantrum during the team race, Madison has to leave the training camp. To make matters worse, she is now supposed to spend her holidays with her mother in the Tyrolean mountains. But Madison does not give up. She continues to doggedly train there until she gets injured and has to take a break. At last, her racing bike is no longer the focus of her life. She makes friends with enthusiastic downhiller Vicky from the village and two brothers from her resort. They go mountain biking together, and for the first time, Madison enjoys the light-hearted company of peers and cycling without any pressure to perform.
