Axolotl Overkill
Original title: Axolotl Overkill
German title: Axolotl Overkill
After the death of her mother, 16-year-old Mifti and her older halfsiblings Annika and Edmont are a rather chaotic flat-sharing community. In other words, Mifti, who hates everything normal, does not stick to the rules, skips school and provokes at any given opportunity. She has little confidence in her father, a wealthy artist, who lives with his life companion in a completely “antibourgeois” fashion in a dilapidated house awaiting demolition, let alone accepting any advice from him. When Mifti gets to know somewhat unstable actress Ophelia, she does Berlin club scene tours with her for nights on end, which quite naturally include drugs and sex. Mifti believes she can grow up this way, but in fact, her burning desire is someone who cares for her. Her secret dreams circle around beautiful, mysterious art dealer Alice, whom Mifti had a passionate affair with and who could just as well be her mother. Or should be?
