The “Beutolomäus” series and movies are among the most successful Christmas brands of Kika children’s channel. Year after year Santa Claus and his gift bag Beutolomäus experience fairytale adventures. In this new TV movie, the two receive a letter from eight-year-old Louis shortly before Christmas. He has moved again with his mother Liliane, this time to Hutzeldorf. Liliane is an artist and can never live in one place for a long time. Louis suffers from this permanent change of residence because he can never make friends. Therefore he wants real friends from Santa Claus. But in this case, the old man is powerless, because friends can not be given, everyone must find them himself! Just before Santa files the boy’s letter with the unrealizable desires, he has an idea. He sends Beutolomäus to Hutzeldorf for looking at the situation there. And gift bag discovers that Louis is suspected by the Hutzeldorf children to have damaged the scenes of their nativity play. Of course, wrongly! But who is the real culprit?
