Eight-years-old Emil’s biggest dream is to own a dog. Because his father is not willing to give him the money for his little friend, Emil starts to assume an odd job in a joinery. When he finally raised the necessary money on his own, it happened a giant argument in the family. Dog Skundi, named after the grandfather’s loyal companion, is not allowed to be in the house. Without further ado, Emil and Skundi begin an adventurous journey to Emil’s grandfather, who lives in the lonely, Islandic mountains.
