Sami, Joe and I

Sami, Joe and Leyla are best friends and inseparable. At 16, they dream of parties, boys, freedom and make plans for the future. With school coming to an end, it should be the summer of their lives. But the lively teenagers have to face some problems. Sami suffers because of her very strict parents, Leyla has started an apprenticeship that completely overwhelms her, and Joe has to constantly take care of her siblings. That is quite annoying. Nevertheless, they try to enjoy life and regularly wander around their Zurich agglomeration chatting and laughing. But besides all the fun and light-heartedness, they have to take important decisions. What do they want to achieve in life? How can they realise their dreams? All in all, their journey into adulthood is a wild and turbulent rollercoaster ride. When a traumatic experience befalls Joe, their friendship is put to the test.
