The Peppercorns and the Treasure of the Sea
Original title: Die Pfefferkörner und der Schatz der Tiefsee
German title: Die Pfefferkörner und der Schatz der Tiefsee
The holidays get off to an exciting start for Tarun and his girlfriend Alice, because top secret documents are stolen from Tarun's mother Jaswinder's research base in Ireland. As a dedicated marine researcher, Jaswinder is working on a project that aims to reduce plastic waste in the oceans. Back in Hamburg, she suddenly and unexpectedly has to drive to the small port town of Weesemünde. Tarun and Alice are allowed to accompany her, but only on one condition: playing detective and snooping around is prohibited. But during the night Jaswinder is kidnapped and the two can no longer keep their promise. One trail leads to the unscrupulous waste disposal contractor Fleckmann, presumably the head of an internationally operating waste mafia. Jaswinder’s assistant Patrizia and her colleague Oliver have also been behaving in a strange way lately. Not to mention the fishermen of Weesemünde, who are on the outs with the uncomfortable researcher. So an exciting, criminalistic adventure begins for Tarun, Alice and their new peppercorn friends.
