Father Brenner is planning to spend their holidays on castle Canterville with his family. In reality he has to assess the value of the castle and to buy it off from the owner of the castle, MacQuarrie by order of his boss. There is only one problem: Sir Simon de Canterville, the ghost of the castle, who is doomed to haunt on the strength of a flood of the century. But nobody becomes afraid of him, not even the usually frightened Paul. They both get on very well and hammer out a daring plan.
