Miss Moxy
The arrogant cat Moxy finds herself taken from her peaceful surroundings in Zwolle, Holland, to the south of France. She actually belongs to nine-year-old Joosje, who is going on holiday with her parents. There in Provence, they want to spend carefree days in Ritaʼs holiday flat. The overly friendly but resolute landlady is the owner of Tuur, the boxer, whom Miss Moxy immediately keeps her distance from. Meanwhile, Rita dreams of entering the naive dog in the upcoming animal talent show. But Rita soon recognises Miss Moxyʼs amazing musical abilities – and for her, itʼs clear: she will take part in the national animal talent competition with Moxy. A clever plan to kidnap the cat is hatched, but both the cat and the dog manage to escape. Unfortunately, this happens only after Joosje has travelled home. The duo is soon joined by Ayo, the swallow grandpa. All three must now travel halfway across France to find Miss Moxyʼs home, practising mutual solidarity and friendship along the way. At the same time, however, they must escape the persistent pursuit of Rita, who is not sitting idly by ...
