The Fantastic Journey of Margot & Marguerite

Two twelve-year-old girls, Margot and Marguerite, live in the same country at different times. While Marguerite grows up in France in 1942, at the time of the Second World War, Margot lives about 70 years later, in 2019. Marguerite lives with her aunt Alice on her grandparents' impressive estate, while Margot lives in a house with her mother and has to come to terms with her much-hated stepfather. What unites both girls, however, is the shared experience of growing up without their fathers: Marguerite's dad disappeared during the war, Margot’s dad left the family for Australia because of another woman. Thanks to a magic chest, the two girls' wish to see their fathers again could now finally come true. Margot therefore travels back to 1942 to look for Marguerite’s father together with aunt Alice. Marguerite, in turn, suddenly finds herself in the year 2019 and initially sets off searching for her roots together with Nathan. Both girls now face the challenges of a chaotic and exciting journey.
