Casper and Emma Put on a Play
Original title: Karsten og Petra lager teater
German title: Karsten und Petra machen Theater
A small town in Norway: Casper and Emma are best friends, they go to kindergarten and discover the world together with their talking stuffed animals Lion Cub and Miss Rabbit. The four of them are enchanted by a visit to the theater. When their teachers want to raise money for an orphanage in India, Emma proposes staging a play themselves. All the children are excited and want to put the plan into action. The little actors tell a story about helpful light elves that can show children the way out of a dark forest. Emma is allowed to play the elf queen, Miss Rabbit is her princess, Lion Cub is a dangerous lion, and Casper is looking forward to making the stage look good as the lighting technician. But on the eve of the premiere, Emma falls off a ladder. She sprains her ankle and cannot act in the play. There is only one solution: Casper becomes the elf queen and Emma has to control the spotlight. The boy is disappointed, but for the sake of his friend, he fills in for her thereby saving the long-practiced performance, which is a great success.
