The Stronghold

Since a traumatic experience of his childhood, Vitko suffers from panic fear of heights. Nevertheless, he is very much interested in the construction of model airplanes. During a school trip to the mountains, Vitko and his best friend Vovchik move away from their group. When a time travel portal opens due to a solar eclipse, Vitko is accidentally beamed into the past. Having arrived in medieval Rus of 1120 AD, he meets the inhabitants of the fortified village of Rymiv. With their help, Vitko tries to travel back to the present. He needs a magic Perun stone for it. But the hostile Cumans are in search of this stone too, because they need its power to conquer the village. Thanks to his knowledge, Vitko develops a flying object, which is to attack the adversaries from the air and defend the village against enemy raids. In the final fight against the Cumans, Vitko has to overcome his fears in order to save his new friends and get back to the present himself. Even young and beautiful Olena is helping him, although she does not want to lose him.
