Lena lives with her mother in a suburban neighborhood. The local narrow-mindedness and smugness burden the highly sensitive, creative 16-year-old very much, especially since she no longer gets on well with her longtime friend Nicole. One reason is certainly the fact that Lena's mother is having a secret affair with Nicole’s father, who lives opposite and makes a great husband outwardly. Also her classmate Stella, an evil intriguer, has contributed to the disagreements between the two friends. She tries to win Nicole for herself by using unfair means. Things seem to turn out well when Lena finds in Tim, their new class fellow, a soul mate and falls in love with him. But Stella quickly realizes that something is looming between the two. She therefore urges Nicole to “make a pass” at Tim and thereby give Lena a wipe. Deeply disappointed and desperately unhappy Lena withdraws from everybody and unburdens her heart to her new chat friend Noah. As she does not know who is behind this account, she falls into an underhand bullying trap.
