Tears of Inge
Original title: Tears of Inge
German title: Inges Tränen
A profound human-animal and human-nature relationship is represented by a painted world filled with a camel’s emotion and tears. Sometimes camels reject their babies after a painful childbirth. Mongolian nomads sing sad songs and play musical instruments for the mother camels so that they can be touched by the music and accept their babies. The film is based on a real Mongolian nomadic story narrated by the director’s grandmother.
