The 16 years old Ebba lives together with her adoptive mother Anita in Sweden. Her physical mother lives in India. With Camilla, her best friend, she spends most of their time with. With immense fantasy Camilla tries to help Ebba get in contact with Erik, Ebba’s love. This always ends up in disaster. Ebba is also a passionate swimmer and dreams very often about India. She images a romantical painting like Bollywood. By chance she get in touch with her bilogical mother and decides: she has to go to Bombay! Anita doesn’t want. Together with her friend Camilla, they procure the money for the flight. When Camilla doesn’t dare in the last minute, Ebba leaves the house alone. But India brings to Ebba a rude awakening from her dreams.
