When we meet Thomas and his mother, Anne, for the first time, they are about to run away as so often before. Thomas has borrowed a book from a classmate, which he wants to return, but he doesn't have enough time: Count to 100! Arriving one day in a new town Thomas meets Helene and Jonas. He immediately falls in love with the girl, and Jonas becomes his best friend. Also his mother likes the new house owner Lars.
