Robin and the Hoods
Original title: Robin and the Hoods
German title: Robin and the Hoods
Robin and her friends, “The Hoods”, are always fighting with their rival gang, “The Knights of Brandlethorn”, for the woods at the end of their street, which they call “The Kingdom”. With a little imagination, the wooden sheds there are transformed into a medieval village, where the children fight epic battles on horses, armed with swords or bows and arrows, instead of on bicycles and with sticks. Eleven-year-old Robin, leader of “The Hoods”, would like to remain head of her beloved kingdom forever. But then a shady property developer shows up in town. She wants to raze the forest area to the ground and instead promises the residents a stylish building complex with a fitness studio, a cinema and shops. There’s no way Robin can let that happen. In order to save the kingdom from ruin, she and her friends not only have to team up with their rivals and the scary witch of the forest – above all, the children must convince the mayor and the adults to stop the construction project.
