The Key of Saint Peter
Original title: Klíč svatého Petra
German title: Der Petrusschlüssel
Without realising the value of the piece, thief Wilhelm and swindler Emilia have stolen the key of Saint Peter and lost it again. They have also dragged good-natured, clumsy Tobias into their misdeed. But shortly afterwards, they all drown and end up in the realm of Aquarius. He puts their souls in clay pots until one day they fall off the shelf and the three of them stand before the gates of heaven. Of course Saint Peter, who can only open his gate with a crowbar, recognises them. He sends Wilhelm, Emilia and Tobias back to life for three days on three occasions. During this time, they have to find the key and bring it back, otherwise eternal purgatory awaits them. Thus they start a race against time in the course of which complicated entanglements ensue. The beautiful and clever princess is to be married off so she cannot get wise to the power-hungry chancellor and his wife. They want to set the princess up with Aquarius, but she has fallen in love with Tobias. And he... has fallen in love with her.
