The Girls at the Station

Jara, Álex and Miranda grow up in a childrenʼs home. They have not had the chance to experience love in a biological family. The three teenagers cope with this issue in very different ways: While Álex is the emotionally stable one in the trio and looks after new arrivals at the home like a mother, Jara is the party girl who knows exactly what she wants and gets it. For her birthday, she wants to go to a concert by her favourite musician with her friends. But they need money and donʼt have many ways of getting it. They meet a young woman who used to work at the childrenʼs home. She specialises in arranging dates with men in the bus station toilets and promises Jara, Álex and Miranda that she can earn easy money that way. While the three friends initially feel that they are still in control of their actions, they gradually lose control and end up on the dark side of Mallorca. Finally, on Christmas Eve, an incident occurs that shatters their self-delusion in the worst possible way.
