Zineb, Amina and Djeneba have been inseparable friends since childhood, despite their different social backgrounds. While Amina grew up in middle-class circumstances, Zineb and Djeneba live in a neighbourhood of French social housing called HLM (Habitation à loyer modéré). When Zineb is sexually harassed by a classmate, the friends decide to record such an assault on video to serve as evidence. But the boy reacts differently than expected, and a momentous confession also ends up in the video. In light of this explosive information, the girls argue about what to do with it. Amina, frustrated by the assault and emboldened by the #MeToo content she regularly sees on social media, ignores her friendsʼ objections and posts the video on Instagram. Hashtag: HLM Pussy. This triggers a chain of events that not only destroy the friendship between the three teenagers, makes Zineb a victim in several ways after the boyʼs offence, but also costs a girl her life.
