Forever-Forever

In Kyiv in the late 1990s, Tonia moves from the city centre to a new school on the outskirts. In search of protection and a place in life, she quickly makes friends with a group of tough youngsters. Together they roam Kyivʼs post-socialist suburbs, having fun and getting into trouble. Young and rebellious in the midst of the ruins of the Soviet regime, the young people have to grow up faster due to the circumstances and yet, they are not part of the chaotic adult world. Using her charm, Tonia casts a spell over two classmates who couldnʼt be more different: Zhurik, a cheerful prince charming, and Sania, more of a daredevil drug dealer. A dangerous love triangle unfolds between them – somewhere between friendship, romance and brutal borderline experience. Things get complicated when Toniaʼs brutal ex-boyfriend turns up and wonʼt stop stalking her. In this misogynist world, Tonia searches for her own path.
