The Websters Movie

Little spider Lili lives a sheltered life in the machine room of a lift together with her brother Hugo, her parents and her grandparents. Lili is adventurous, loves exploring the surroundings of her home, and is full of mischief. Right now, everything is exciting and new, as she has just started going to school. The family fully supports the youngest member of the Webster family in this new phase of her life, even in case of difficulties. However, Lili will soon face a much bigger adventure outside the spiderʼs web of her home. While the little spider is trying to fly a kite, she meets a human child. The two approach each other cautiously. After all, humans are the spiders’ number one enemy. Can this really work? Or is such a meeting far too dangerous, as Lili has always been taught? From then on, the spider and the young girl try to overcome the differences that separate them and build up a friendship in a colourful mixture of animated and live-action film.
