Stop my Stepmom!
Original title: El a Kezekkel a Papámtól
German title: Hände weg von meinem Vater!
Self-confident, dreamy Dorka loves spending her time up in the attic. Amidst the furniture and belongings of her beloved mother Anna, she is always reading the old fairy tale book. She is particularly impressed by the story of the king’s daughter and her wicked stepmother, because her father András wants to marry again after Annaʼs death. Dorka does not need a new mother, but he needs a wife. He has chosen the unsympathetic Viola, of all people. She seems very similar to the stepmother from the fairy tale. The first thing she does is secretly locking the attic so Dorka shall forget her real mother. Then she makes the girl out to be a liar. When Dorka gets angry and wants to conjure the nasty woman away with her supposedly magical dust, Viola pretends to faint and thus manages to have the “disobedient” girl sent to a camp for some time. In the
“magic forest camp” Dorka not only experiences the most exciting adventures, she also finds a wonderful, loving stepmother in Eszter, the camp director.
