Buster's World

Buster is eleven years old and very helpful. He lovingly takes care of his younger sister Ingeborg, who has trouble walking, and looks after old Mr Larsen. What he loves most is performing magic, and he dreams of winning the first prize including 10,000 crowns as a "master magician" at Brønskøj Summer Festival. The money is to finance the family’s trip to Ibiza, where his parents got to know each other on a school trip. But Buster is far from being a master magician. He often makes a fool of himself with his tricks when he chokes on a magic egg or when cards fall out of his hands. Yet, Buster would really like to impress Joanna, a nice girl who has just moved into his neighbourhood. But his classmate Simon-Olaf has also cast an eye at Joanna and has a good chance of winning the talent contest. So Buster trains with Mr Larsen to improve his performance and also gets valuable tips on how to win Joanna's heart. But then old Larsen is admitted to a hospital, and he now needs Buster more than ever.
