Butter

The boy is humorous, eloquent and a gifted saxophonist. There is only one problem. “Butter”, as he is called by everyone, is heavily overweight. His mother spoils him all the time with lovingly decorated dishes. Butter feels alienated from his father. He does not dare to approach Anna, in his eyes the most beautiful girl of his school. In an online chat, however, he writes to her under a false name and wins her affection through his charming nature and profound thoughts. Soon Anna wants to meet her soulmate in person. Butter is sure that she will not return his love once she finds out who he really is. Since ridicule and scorn at his school is increasing day by day, Butter makes a desperate decision. He creates a website and announces that he will eat himself to death in front of the whole world on New Year’s Eve. He thereby becomes the star of the school overnight and suddenly enjoys unaccustomed popularity. Butter makes new friends and loves life again. What shall he do now? Everyone seems to be expecting the announced death feast after all.
