In 1986, Niels moves after his parents’ divorce with his mum Hanne to a municipality not far from the nuclear power station-building site. For Hanne it is a step to a new world. But Niels feels unwell in this unusual surrounding area. When Hanna has a liaison with Peter, the guru of the municipality, Niels rebels.
